27-th European Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics

27-th European Championships in rhythmic gymnastics came to Belarus. It will be held from 27 to 29 May 2011 in Minsk at the MKSK Minsk - Arena.

 Rhythmic gymnastics is, perhaps, the most refined, most romantic and aesthetic sport. Grace, music, elegance, sensibility and creative research, multiplied by the heat of sport struggle, working on results and team spirit, is that makes this sport discipline(subject) to become magnificent spectacle.

This event was preceded by long and laborious work to promote the image of the Belarusian school of gymnastics in the international arena.

The successful holding of a number of competitions of Grand Prix Series and three World Cup events contributed the provision to Belarus the right of the highest European level tournament organization.

More than two hundred gymnasts from 35 countries in Europe will come together in Minsk at the end of this May. These graces – are the strongest female athletes not only on our continent but also worldwide.

The Champions and the medalist of World, European championships and the Olympics will perform on the mat of the tournament.

The Championships program includes individual competition among adult female gymnasts and competitions in group exercises between the juniors.

And traditionally the gymnastic tournament will be concluded by magnificent colorful show – “The show of the world gymnastics stars. “ This performance will be based on the bright demonstrative events filled with incredible special effects, lights and music that will have no world known analogues. This Belarusian know-how has already become a legend as in a professional gymnastic surrounding, so in the memories of adoring fans of this sport.
